Architect has been specifically developed for small and medium sized practices. The software has
been designed to provide project and client information at the click of a mouse, streamlining the
business and dramatically reducing administrative overheads. Architect provides structure to a busy
office therefore promoting an efficient, organised and effective image to the client.
Critically the Architect software has been designed to ensure that it supports the fundamentals
required by an architects practice but does not include features that cover for every eventuality
which then makes it complex. This ensures the software is simple and easy to use getting the buy
in from all employees within the practice, including the partners!
If a practice has a requirement that sits outside the standard software, our developers
can easily change the package to fit the nuances of that practice without the need to wait for
6 monthly or yearly releases.
The Practice
Working closely with a leading Architect, Orovia has developed a management system designed to
ensure architects and their employees maintain timely contact with customers throughout the lifecycle
of a project and manage all key milestones in the design, planning and build phases.
The system manages all documentation including drawings and images attached to a project.
In addition the system provides key management information ensuring accurate ‘time spent’ versus
‘time charged’ for any project or multiple projects.
A suite of reports will provide client and project information which can be tailored to suit a
particular practice’s requirements. Typical reports provide information on staff utilisation, project
efficiencies, ‘enquiry to project’ conversion etc.
The Client
Clients have the ability to access their documentation and plans through a secure login
on the practice website greatly enhancing the service provided to a client and reducing time
administering such requests by staff within the practice. A clients user rights are controlled
by the Practice Administrator but the functionality is available to let the client view relevant
milestones within a particular project, as well as relevant notes and comments.
